SAMUEL G. NGARUIYA, Chairman |
Mr. Ngaruiya, holds an MBA degree in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and also a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Robert Schuman University in Strasbourg, France, and a diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, U.K. He is Chairman of Amedo Madison Holdings Limited and was appointed Chairman of Madison Insurance in 1986. Prior to joining the Amedo Madison Group, Mr. Ngaruiya worked in senior positions in several companies in Kenya. He serves as Chairman of other subsidiaries of the Group. |

FRANK MUCHIRI, Managing Director | Mr. Muchiri holds an MBA degree in Strategic Management from Strathmore Business School and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from the University of Nairobi. He is a Chartered Insurer (ACII) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACI Arb). Mr. Muchiri has been in the insurance industry since 1980. He joined Madison Insurance in 1989 as Deputy Chief Executive and was appointed General Manager in 1991. He served as Deputy Managing Director during the year 2006 and was appointed Managing Director in January 2007. Mr. Muchiri is a Board Director in both the Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) and the Policyholders Fund. |

JAMES M. WAINAINA, Non-Executive Director | Mr. Wainaina holds an MBA degree from Maastricht School of Management/ESAMI and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, U.K. (FCCA) and a member of the Certified Public Accountants, Kenya (CPAK). He is Deputy Chairman of Amedo Madison Holdings Limited and has been a director of Madison Insurance since 1986. Mr. Wainaina is the Managing Director of Amedo Centres Kenya Limited since 1986, prior to which he worked as Financial Controller of the Singer Sewing Machine Company. He is also a director in several other companies in Kenya. |

Mr. Juma is a BA Hons. graduate of University of London and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing U.K. He joined the board of Amedo Madison Holdings Limited in 1994 and was appointed a director of Madison Insurance in 2000. Mr. Juma held senior management positions in several Kenyan companies before retirement in 1996. He is a past Chairman of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers and the Kenya Federation of Employers. He is currently Chairman of the Kenya Roads Board and is Vice-Chairman of the National Bank of Kenya. He holds a number of directorships in other well known companies in Kenya. |

KITHINJI KIRAGU, Non-Executive Director | Mr. Kiragu holds an MBA degree from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Nairobi. He is a former University of Nairobi Lecturer in Finance and Auditing and a Certified Public Accountants of Kenya member since 1980. He has published numerous articles in public finance and management.
Mr. Kiragu is currently the Executive Chairman of African Development Professional Group Ltd. based in Nairobi, and is heavily involved in management consultancy and capacity development. He also holds several other Directorships including the Nairobi Stock Exchange |

STANLEY M. NGAINE Non-Executive Director |
Mr. Ngaine holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Nairobi and is a member of the Certified Public Accountants of Kenya. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants – UK and a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Sterling Investment Bank Ltd and is also a Director of the Nairobi Stock Exchange.
Mr. Ngaine was for three years Director of Fiscal and Monetary Policy at the Ministry of Finance. Prior to this, he held senior management positions in several companies in Kenya. He also held accounting positions in two multinational firms in Europe and Kenya |

DR. EUSTACE K. MWARANIA Non-Executive Director |
Dr. Mwarania holds a Master of Science Degree and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Electronics from the University of Southampton, UK. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nairobi. He was a lecturer in Electronics at the University of Nairobi for a number of years before launching a business career in the ICT industry.
Dr. Mwarania is currently the Managing Director of Softwise (Kenya) Ltd and has helped to develop programs to enhance ICT applications for many business and public bodies in Kenya. He is also the Executive Chairman of Optiware Communications Group which assists organizations in the deployment of large data center solutions. |
